Things may not be as 'green' as they seem!

The 'greenness' of a trial kerbside collection scheme in the Isle of Man is being questioned by the chairman of one of the local authorities involved.

The scheme was introduced in Douglas, Onchan and Braddan almost two years ago as a three-year trial.

The chairman of Onchan Commissioners is wondering how environmentally friendly the scheme really is, and claims it has had a big impact on the incinerator (first part of audio file):
