ASSI decision is 'good news for Ramsey'

Ramsey Commissioners are welcoming the news plans for an area of special scientific interest in the town's estuary have been dropped by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.

Earlier today, DEFA minister John Shimmin said that following discussions with the public, Ramsey Commissioners and harbour users, he had concerns the consultation process itself was unfairly biased in favour of his department.
