A CHRISTMAS message for isleofman.com readers from the Southern 100 organisers:

"Southern 100 Racing, organisers of the Southern 100 International Road Races, the Pre TT Classic Road Races and the Post TT Road Races wish to express its sincere thanks to everyone involved in the 2010 events no matter how small or large a part they played to ensure the success of the event.

"The club are especially indebted to all the marshals and volunteers who attended the practice sessions and races ensuring the meetings went ahead as scheduled.

"To the competitors thank you for your continued support by taking part in the races and to the spectators and enthusiasts your attendance at Billown is much appreciated.

"The Committee are well ahead with plans for the three race meetings in 2011, the Blackford’s PreTT Classic Road Races on May 27,28 and 30, the Manx Telecom Post TT Road Races on June 11 and the Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road Races on July 11, 12, 13 and 14.

"The Southern 100 Motor Cycle Racing Club would like to extend Christmas greetings to everyone who follow ‘the friendly races’ and wish you all a prosperous New Year. We look forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new ones to Castletown in May, June and July next year."
