THE family of murdered builder Terry Losh said "he will never be forgotten", we reported in October.
Simon Leece was given a life sentence for starting a fire in Demesne Road, Douglas, which killed Mr Losh.
The 35-year-old has been ordered to serve a minimum of 21 years behind bars.
In a statement that month Mr Losh's family said: "We are greatly relieved and satisfied with the outcome that has been reached within the judicial system and we would like to send our heartfelt gratitude to the police team who have been so supportive and worked so tirelessly in the pursuit of justice.
"We as a family hope that in time we can come to terms with the heinous acts that have devastated our lives.
"We again hope that this will allow some form of moving forward and remember the happy times.
"Dad will be sadly missed by us all and especially his grandchildren who loved him dearly.
"Dad can never be brought back but he will never be forgotten."
Leece was also sentenced to 12 years for arson with intent to danger life and eight years for arson, showing recklessness as to whether life would be endangered, both to run concurrently.
