BILLIONAIRE John Whittaker came out as the richest resident in the Isle of Man in the Sunday Time’s Rich List in April.
Property magnate Mr Whittaker is believed to be worth £1.5 billion and was joined on the list by Albert Gubay, Graham Ferguson Lacey, and Eddie Davies and John Taylor.
Combined together the 10 richest people in the Isle of Man are worth a total of £2.8 billion.
Bee Gee Robin Gibb topped the poll with a personal fortune of £110 million.
The report also showed that the top 10 richest residents had lost significant amounts of money over the year.
These included Jim Mellon who was said to have lost £200 million and Eddie Davies whose wealth shrank by an estimated £33 million.
