Advent meditation stations this week

by isleofman.com 20th December 2010

A NUMBER of advent meditation stations are running this week in the lead up to Christmas.

The Diocese of Sodor and Man have set up the stations to give office workers and shoppers the chance to break off from their pre-Christmas schedule and "take a fresh look at the world and their lives within it".

The advent meditation stations will allow the visitor to think and respond to aspects of this season. They are not necessarily religious and are designed to bring a moment of peace.

Admission is free and the stations are open every day until Thursday, December 23.

The stations are located at St German's in Peel, St Mary's in Douglas, and St Paul's in Ramsey.
