Anxious day possible for air passengers

Icy conditions delayed the opening of Ronaldsway Airport to 8.30 this morning (Monday).

Passengers were being advised to check in on time, but they were also being told to contact their airlines before setting off from home, for information about flights.

On Mandate this morning, airport director Ann Reynolds suggested there could be problems due to the snow which has falllen at airports elsewhere in the British Isles.
