THE Roads Policing Unit has said roads across the Island up are "icing up" very quickly this evening (Sunday) - even the roads gritted and cleared of snow.

The message from the emergency services is: "Drivers are advised only to make journeys which are absolutely necessary and if you do have to travel then drive with extreme caution."

Meanwhile the Shoulder Road, from its junction Ballamodha to Ballakillowey and all the roads leading to it, is closed until at least 10am tomorrow due to the bad conditions.
