Bus announcement due at 8am

by isleofman.com 18th December 2010

The Isle of Man is continuing to battle the snow today (Saturday), with gritters out on the roads.

Police say many routes are still very slippery, and are repeating yesterday’s advice not to travel unless it's absolutely necessary.

This morning, all bus services have been suspended although a further decision is expected at 8am.

The Department of Infrastructure says its gritters have worked through the night on the Island’s main roads, and will stay out later today with a shift change at 8am.

The Met Office is forecasting more snow today, some of it quite heavy, with accumulations of several centimetres in some places.
