Further heavy snowfalls due

by isleofman.com 17th December 2010

The Met Office at Ronaldsway issued a new warning about severe weather this evening (Friday).

On higher ground, further heavy snow or hail showers are expected, laying a fresh carpet of several centimetres of snow and bringing sub-zero temperatures.

Lower-lying areas are facing very similar conditions, with fresh snow and hail, and freezing road surfaces.

Forecasters says any heavy showers will leave a covering of several centimetres of snow.

There will be further wintry showers tonight and at times tomorrow.
