THE Saturday morning family planning clinic will be closed tomorrow due to the weather, the Department of Health has announced.

Emergency contraception is available through most pharmacies/chemists, the Manx Emergency Doctor Service (MEDS) and Accident and Emergency at Noble's Hospital.

Meanwhile patients are being advised visits by district nurses over the weekend may be affected by the adverse weather.

Should this occur plans are in place to prioritise visits to the most vulnerable patients.

Should someone require an urgent visit by a district nurse they should ring the on-call district nursing manager on 454354.
