Driving conditions treacherous as snow falls across the Island

THE emergency services are warning that driving conditions are treacherous due to the snow fall.

 

A police spokesman said: "I would say if you don’t need to drive don't."

 

The Ballamodha Straight, Malew is described as "very bad", while Richmond Hill southward bound is closed.

 

The road from Anagh Coar traffic lights up to Spring Valley crossroads, plus Quarterbridge and Ballacraine are all described as "bad".

 

Crellin's Hill, Douglas, is in the process of being closed as vehicles have collided with barriers at the bottom.

 

Stevenson Way is described as "treacherous" and there are reports of vehicles getting stuck at Creg Willy's Hill on the TT course.
