by isleofman.com 16th December 2010

THE latest Open Mic Surgery event takes place at the Albert, Douglas, tonight (Thursday) and it will mark a very special occasion.

It will be the 50th open mic at the pub.

The Open Mic Surgery nights have given musicians of all abilities and experience a chance to perform in public.

They have been hosted by Carl Joughin who said he is going into open mic retirement - though the nights will continue as they will be run by Joshua Dillon.
