A member of the Legislative Council says serious questions need answering about medical provision for next year's TT and the budgetary constraints which are apparently causing changes to it.
Juan Turner says more money is apparently being spent on bureaucracy and administration, while there are serious concerns from professional medics about cuts and changes being made on the back of financial pressures.
Earlier this week it was rumoured ACU Events had decided to have no chief medical officer at TT 2011.
The organisation's chairman, Jim Parker, then came out and said there would be one, adding medical director Dr David Stevens had been offered the position but turned it down.
Mr Turner feels it all goes against the official line since the three deaths at the 26th milestone at TT 2008, and the subsequent inquests:
