Onchan is gearing up for a torchlight procession through the village this evening (Wednesday).
Torches, glow-sticks, neon bracelets and lanterns will light up the parade, which starts at 7pm and will be led by Onchan Silver Band.
There will be an outdoor Christmas service at the Community Centre, along with an indoor Christmas market at 7.30pm, before Santa arrives.
At 8pm there will be a fireworks display and the evening will be rounded off with hot soup and festive snacks.
