SINGING and acting star Sam Barks landed the role of Eponine in the hit West End musical Les Miserables in May.
Sam secured a one year contract to perform in the Cameron Mackintosh musical which was performed at the Queen's Theatre on Shaftsbury Avenue.
She began rehearsals for the part on May 17 in time for the opening night on June 21.

Before starting rehearsals Sam filmed for a new Disney TV series called "Groove High" in which she plays the lead female character Zoe– a half animated and half live action part.
The programme is due to be aired on the Disney Channel in 2011. Sam said: "It is a dream to be a Disney character. I feel very lucky to get two jobs in one year."
