Talks over economic difficulties on both sides of the Irish Sea dominated the meeting of the British Irish Council on the Island this week.
Senior figures from the UK and Republic of Ireland met in Douglas on Sunday and Monday for discussions.
But one topic was at the forefront of most delegates minds – the ongoing economic problems facing the countries represented.
