Tynwald sits later this morning, with the Steam Packet Company firmly at the top of the political agenda.
The court will hear questions about the ferry company’s battle with rival freight service Mezeron, as well as several other questions about pensions, the user agreement and possible job losses.
But the packed order paper, which features 33 questions for oral answer and five for written answer, also sees more than five million pounds of potential public spending.
The Department of Infrastructure will ask the court to approve just under three and a half million pounds to replace radar at Ronaldsway Airport, while the Department of Education and Children wants more than half a million pounds for work to improve disabled access.
During the sitting, Ministers are due to make statements on a review of the planning system, a housing policy review, and taxation.
Michael MHK David Cannan could see his motion asking for the Steam Packet to be brought into public ownership brought forward to Wednesday morning.
