It's St George's v Peel

by isleofman.com 11th December 2010

Railway Cup holders Peel will face league leaders St George’s in the Parkinson Railway Cup Final on December 27.

A double from marksmen Callum Morrissey fired the Geordies to a 2-0 victory over Laxey at Glencrutchery Road.

The Miners’ cause wasn’t helped when they lost goalkeeper Mark Blair to injury in the first half but Morrissey’s double ensured the favourites progressed.

Meanwhile, Marc Kelly grabbed the only goal of the game as Peel won 1-0 at Old Boys.

Old Boys battled hard but the 20th minute dismissal of midfielder Gary Quirk proved a big handicap as Peel secured a fifth consecutive appearance in the final.
