Breathing space for Town

by isleofman.com 11th December 2010

A first home win of the season has given Castletown a little cushion above the Canada Life International Premier League relegation zone.

They saw off Douglas Royal at the Stadium to move further away from the bottom two where Royal remain.

Doubles from Alex Crawley and Mike Williams fired Town to a 4-0 win.

Michael battled hard but are still struggling at the wrong end of the table after going down 3-1 at home to St Mary’s.

After a goalless opening half, Steven Priestnal put the Saints ahead only for Jack Smith to equalise for the westerners.

However, goals from Marc Priestnal and promising youngster Connor Gorman sealed three points for the visitors.
