Ramsey just lose out against Oldershaw

by isleofman.com 11th December 2010

Ramsey gained a bonus point at Mooragh Park, just losing out 14-12 to Oldershaw in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

Ramsey trailed 11-5 at half-time.

Matty Williams put Oldershaw ahead with a try and, when Neil Cross added two penalties, it looked like a beating was on the cards.

Ramsey hit back and a try from Andy Cleator kept them in it.

In the second half, Lance Wyllie added a second try for Ramsey which Ben Harding converted to put them 12-11 ahead.

However, a late penalty from Neil Cross sealed it for the visitors.
