Some higher altitude roads reopen

by isleofman.com 10th December 2010

Four roads have been reopened after being closed to traffic for a number of days, due to the recent snow and freezing conditions.

Motorists were given the all clear to use the Mountain Road, and the Tholt-y-Will, Brandywell, Shoulder/Dalby and Sloc/Round Table roads just after 10.30am today (Friday).

Visibility on the Mountain Road was said to be poor, due to mist and fog.

The Druidale and Injebreck roads remained closed, but were due to be reviewed late this afternoon.
