PSM regeneration - have your say!

by isleofman.com 10th December 2010

There's a chance to view plans for regeneration in the south of the Island this evening (Friday).

Proposals on display at Port St Mary town hall include an ambitious project to create a marine heritage centre and aquarium in the village.

The south west regeneration committee has spent a year researching options to breathe new life into communities in the area.

Once the public's given their views and plans are finalised, the committee will go on to bid for a slice of the government's ?8 million town and village regeneration fund.

The exhibition is open this evening from 6.30 until 8pm.

You can also visit from Saturday through to next Wednesday, between 10am and 4pm.

The following weekend the exhibit moves to Port Erin railway station.
