Local support vital as industry faces new challenge

The new president of the Manx National Farmers' Union says the industry will soon be in a situation where it will rely on local support more than ever before.

The red meat derogation, which has protected the Island from cheaper imports for many years, is set to end shortly.

There's concern among local farmers about the possible impact on their livelihoods, and Ray Craine says it will be even more important to get behind local products:
