Cascada added to Manx Telecom Bay Festival line up

by isleofman.com 9th December 2010

DANCE act Cascada have been added to the line up for next year's Manx Telecom Bay Festival.

They will be a support act on the Sunday night of the festival (June 19) along with Example.

Example has had chart successes in 2010 with Won't Go Quietly and Kickstarts, with his album, also called Won't Go Quietly, going gold.

He is currently supporting Faithless on their winter tour following his own sell out 14-day UK headline tour earlier in the year.

Cascada's appearance at the Manx Telecom Bay Festival in Noble's Park will be part of their 2011 UK tour.

According to Nokia's Ovi Music Store, Cascada are the second most downloaded dance artist of all time ahead of Faithless, Calvin Harris and Basshunter.

They have a back catalogue dating back to 2004 with hits such as Everytime We Touch and Evacuate the Dancefloor.

The headline act for the Sunday night is still to be announced.

The festival runs from June 17 to June 19 and a number of other music acts and comedians have already been confirmed.

Tickets for the event are now on sale through the website www.bayfestival.im or by ringing the ticket hotline on 01624 600600.
