Female assaulted in Douglas

POLICE are investigating after a female was assaulted in Douglas.

 

The offence happened in the area of Derby Square Gardens at its junction with Albert Terrace at 1.30am on Tuesday, November 30.

 

Police want to speak to anyone with information - in particular a member of the public who may have been out walking a dog.

 

PC Jane Irvine, of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "We are keen to locate anyone who may have heard or seen anything and in particular we are keen to speak to two males also seen in the area that may have knowledge of what happened."

 

No further information has been released by police.
