Representatives from Nautilus, the RMT and Unite are set to meet with MHKs today (Wednesday), as concern grows over the possible effect the increased competition might have on jobs and services at the Packet.
Mezeron's parent company Dohle has denied foreign crew on its freight vessel are paid below the minimum wage.
But Chris Bowen of Nautilus says they have evidence some Mezeron employees could be getting as little as ?2.90 an hour.
