Traffic jam lasting from Douglas to Greeba

by isleofman.com 7th December 2010

TRAFFIC is currently backed up from the Quarterbridge roundabout in Douglas all the way to Gorse Lea in Greeba on the TT course due to the bad weather conditions (9.40am Tuesday).

The traffic jam lasting for several miles is a highly unusual occurrence in the Isle of Man.

Emergency services are advising motorists not to use the route unless absolutely necessary.

Drivers are being reminded to take care as the Emergency Services Joint Control Room said "conditions are extremely icy everywhere".
