Series of road closures due to bad weather

by isleofman.com 7th December 2010

A NUMBER of roads across the Island are closed this morning due to the bad weather.

As of 7.50am today (Tuesday) the Emergency Services Joint Control Room said the following roads are closed: the Mountain Road, Tholt y Will, Druidale, East Baldwin, Rushen Abbey road, Injebreck road (B22) and Brandywell road (B10).

The ESJCR is urging motorists to drive with caution due to the icy conditions and said black ice is "extensive".

isleofman.com will have updates as and when these roads re-open.

The road from Ballig Bridge to Douglas Road Corner at Kirk Michael on the TT course was shut this morning due to a traffic collision but has since re-opened.
