Motorists are being warned to take care yet again on the Island's roads this morning (Tuesday).
Police say icy patches led to a series of accidents and minor collisions throughout last night.
Drivers are advised to proceed with extreme caution on all roads.
Gritters from the Department of Infrastructure worked through the night to treat known blackspots and have been doing the main routes from 5am.
However, black ice remains a possibility across the Island.
This morning there has been rain, sleet and snow over high ground.
As always the advice is to slow down and drive to the conditions.
