by isleofman.com 6th December 2010

Ahead of a presentation this evening (Monday) on renewable energy options for the Isle of Man, the environment minister says he believes far more people are now conscious of its importance.

The UK sustainability firm AEA will detail its conclusions in a major report commissioned by the government, which compares the pros and cons of different sources of 'green' energy and looks at how the Island could become more energy efficient.

John Shimmin says there are many issues to consider (play audio file):

The presentation at the Manx Museum is from 7pm.
