The people of Peel will be out in big numbers this evening (Saturday) for the switch-on of the town's Christmas tree lights
It's all happening in Atholl Place at 4.30 pm, when local children will be arriving at the end of a procession from the House of Manannan, carrying their handmade lanterns.
There will be Christmas carols with Crosby Silver Band and a chance to visit Santa in his grotto.
