Warning from police as Mountain Road reopens

by isleofman.com 3rd December 2010

The Mountain Road is being reopened to traffic about now (10pm, Friday).

It had been closed for about six hours, because of a road accident and the poor driving conditions.

One person was hurt in the single vehicle incident, although their injuries were not thought to be serious.

Police say conditions on the mountain road are poor, and are advising motorists to take alternative routes if possible.

Anybody who does use the route tonight should drive with great care.
