Gritters out again and no problems with buses

by isleofman.com 3rd December 2010

The Department of Infrastructure says all six of the primary 'main' routes in the north, south and east were salted by teams of gritters from early yesterday (Thursday) evening.

Two gritting teams carried out a planned pre-salt at 5am today, increasing to five the number working in a number of areas around the Island.

They are the coast road at Laxey, Crony-y-Voddy, the Glen Maye to Dalby road, Ballamodha and the main bus routes in the north.

Drivers are again being urged to drive with great care, and allow extra time for their journeys.

Bus Vannin says all its services are operating normally today.
