Manx cheese wins bronze in World Cheese Awards

A VINTAGE cheddar made by Isle of Man Creameries has won a bronze award at the prestigious World Cheese Awards.

 

The Isle of Man Vintage Cheddar was judged alongside 2,628 other varieties from all over the world at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.

 

Findlay Macleod, managing director of Isle of Man Creameries, said: "Winning a bronze award at the World Cheese Awards is a fantastic achievement for the creamery and a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our experienced cheesemakers. This award is well deserved and reflects the quality of our award winning Vintage Cheddar."

 

Isle of Man Vintage Cheddar is matured for up to 18 months to develop a sweet and nutty flavour.
