Hospice 'Light up a Life' on Sunday

by isleofman.com 2nd December 2010

THE Hospice ‘Light up a Life’ ceremony takes place this coming weekend when people meet for the traditional gathering to celebrate the life of loved ones.

This year the ceremony takes place at 5pm on Sunday. The public is invited to attend this free event which is a moving occasion usually attended by hundreds.

The event revolves around a Christmas tree in the grounds of Hospice which is illuminated by hundreds of lights shining like stars in remembrance of friends and family.

Lights are sponsored by individuals and companies and the event annually helps to raise funds for Hospice. Forms are still available from www.hospice.org.im or download from their Facebook page
