'Drivers weren't put on notice' - Cretney

The minister for community, culture and leisure is rejecting any suggestion some bus drivers have been subjected to 90 days' notice on their jobs, in the row over the new bus timetable.

David Cretney said 'robust discussions' had taken place behind closed doors, between management, staff and their unions.

But during question time in the House of Keys, he told members he wouldn't endorse such action being taken against staff in his department.

Mr Cretney was then asked if he was aware some drivers felt as if they had been threatened with the sack:
