The idea of building a new fire station at the former Victoria Road prison site was slammed during question time in the House of Keys today (Tuesday).
The suggestion, from the Department of Home Affairs, was criticised by North Douglas MHKs Bill Henderson and John Houghton, who said the area would be better served by building sheltered accommodation.
