by isleofman.com 29th November 2010

SNOW has affected many health services around the Island.

Dr Hoehmann's ENT clinic, the oncology clinic, and ophtalmology waiting list clinic at Noble's Hospital have all been cancelled. As has the dental clinic at QEII school.

Mr Barker's orthopaedic clinic will be reduced and patients will be contacted to cancel appointments. There will also be some cancellations to surgery patients.

Some clinics remain open including the Day Procedures (Mr Upsdell) and Ophthalmology (Mr Chohan).

The Blood Clinic is open but the Department of Health has warned that there may be delays.

Mr Dohova’s dental clinic will be cancelled this afternoon at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital but all other services there are expected to run as normal.

Chair based excercises at Ramsey Town Hall at 10.30am has been cancelled as has the multi-professional forum on the Live Well-Stay Well expert patient scheme which was due to take place at Keyll Darree.
