Four teams battle for cup final places

by isleofman.com 27th November 2010

Football's Parkinson Railway Cup semi-finals are the big sporting feature in the Isle of Man today (Saturday).

As usual, the top four sides at the halfway point of the Premier League season have qualified, with leaders St George's starting as favourites at home to Laxey at Glencrutchery Road.

The outcome of the other tie is more difficult to predict, with Old Boys entertaining holders Peel at Blackberry Lane.

Tony Mepham of the Manx FA says that has the potential to be a great game (play audio file):

The winners of today's ties will meet in the final at Ballacloan Stadium in Ramsey on December 27.
