Don't target local authorities again, says commissioner

Onchan’s civic head has warned central government: get your house in order.

Earlier this year, Brian Stowell criticised a rise in waste charges which was imposed on local authorities.

With government trying to find major savings following the revised VAT agreement, Mr Stowell fears more hikes will soon be on the way.
