Anti-domestic violence measure welcomed

The manager of the Victim Support charity in the Isle of Man believes tough measures to deal with people suspected of domestic violence could work over here.

Paula Gelling is reacting to news they could be banned from their homes for up to four weeks, even if there wasn't enough evidence to charge them.

The scheme is being trialled in the United Kingdom next year.

Ms Gelling believes it's right that the victims of domestic abuse should be able to stay in their own homes:
