Roads re-opened after body found in Ramsey

POLICE have re-opened all roads in Ramsey following the discovery of a body this morning.

 

A man's body was found near to the Swing Bridge in Ramsey Harbour shortly after 8am.

 

It is understood that the Police, Coastguard and Isle of Man Fire and Rescue, had been searching through the early hours for the man.

 

The full circumstances of this incident are not yet known but Police do not believe that the death was suspicious.

 

The body has now been removed from the area and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
