Violent assault in Douglas

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a violent assault which left a number of men with facial injuries.

 

The assault happened shortly after 3am on Sunday, November 21, in the area of the Bottle Neck car park on Loch Promenade, Douglas. 

 

Five men were involved in the incident and a number of them received treatment at Noble's Hospital.

 

Two men have since been arrested and charged with assault offences. Police are not looking for any other offenders.
 
Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident is asked to come forward with information.

 

It is believed the area would have been busy with members of the public and taxi drivers at the time.
