Growth of eGaming industry

The importance of e-gaming to the Isle of Man has been highlighted by the minister for economic development.

In his opening address at the inaugural eGaming summit at the Mount Murray Hotel, Allan Bell said the industry was growing apace, with 22 live licences, eight more approved and about to go live, four applications to be heard shortly, and new enquiries coming in on a regular basis.

He told delegates the industry's significance to the Island's economy was growing all the time:
