A LOCAL fishmonger will represent the Island at the BBC Good Food Show this week.
Tim Croft of Paddy's Hooked on Fish will be showcasing the very best in Manx seafood at the five day exhibition which starts tomorrow.
He will be joined by local chef Steve Quirk.
Tim has been invited to present his produce alongside a celebrity chef within the Christmas Tasting Theatre – where he plans to serve hot and cold smoked salmon, Manx crab, Manx scallops and Queenies.
Tim said: "As a family food and especially seafood has always been a great passion so being able to present and talk about our produce within one of the theatres at the BBC Good Food Show was a golden opportunity I was only to glad to seize upon.
"Not only is it a great launching pad for Paddy's but it also gives me the chance to showcase the very best Manx produce and reinforce the message that the Isle of Man produces some of the best seafood in the world."
Paddy's Hooked on Fish was established in 2008 as the retail arm of Island Seafare.
The BBC Good Food Show, held in Birmingham, attracts in excess of 100,000 people.
