Council keen to make more use of bandstand

A new venue for live rock music is being made available in Douglas.

Local charity Manxaid has identified the Bandstand in Noble's Park as a possible stage for concerts, during the summer months.

The Leisure Services Committee is in favour of the idea, and chairman Stephen Pitts says it will be nice to see the facility put to good use:
