An ear, nose and throat specialist from Noble’s Hospital is due in court again today (Tuesday).
Dr Dirk Heinz Hoehman, of West Baldwin in Braddan, is charged with obtaining ?736,000 by deception from the Department of Health and Social Security.
He is also accused of possessing a regulated firearm without a certificate.
A week ago Dr Hoehman was remanded in custody by the deputy high bailiff, despite offering a surety of ?25,000.
He is due in court this morning.
