TWO men from Merseyside have been charged with 14 drug related offences.
The men will appear in court this morning after being arrested in a police raid on Saturday.
At 6.20pm officers from the Drug Trafficking Unit raided an address on Douglas Promenade.
A large quantity of drugs, believed to be heroin, with a street value of £5,000 were recovered from the property.
The males aged 20 and 21 have been charged with 14 offences relating to the importation and supply of Class A controlled drugs as well as money laundering offences.
Detective Sergeant Allan Thompson of the Drug Trafficking Unit said: "This is the culmination of an intelligence led operation targeting those dealing drugs on the Isle of Man and living off the profits of their illicit activity. As well as taking drugs out of the hands of dealers we are also focused on taking their assets and investigating how they get money off the Island."
