MLC sets out timetable for LegCo reform

MLC David Callister says he will bring forward his bill to have the Legislative Council popularly elected before next year's general election.

Mr Callister, who came into politics with a specific aim of bringing about the change, spoke about the subject on Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion.

He said nothing would happen before the end of 2010, but nor would he wait for the election to take place before getting things moving:
